A recognized hacker and developer, i0nic just has tweeted a screen shot of the Cydia running on his own iPhone 5s with iOS 7.0.5, and has affirmed that still evasi0n7 is effective for iOS 7.0.5.
To make evasi0n work with iOS 7.0.5 one way is to patch 11B511 into 11B601 in the binary. Ehmm btw… the patch are not hex bytes but simple ASCII iOS build numbers that need to be fixed.
It means that the Apple has not set the exploits as used by the evasi0n7 in this new iOS 7.0.5 update, which isn’t very surprising because it is only a small update. However evad3rs will likely be able to put the iOS 7.0.5 support by having a little change.
If patching such binaries is not in your collection, there are actually several unofficial Evasi0n7 tool versions already flying around the internet which can easily jailbreak this new iOS 7.0.5.
