We all know that this year Google would definitely roll out some OTA updates to the Android N developer preview, but we don’t expecting that it will be released so quickly. Android N Developer Preview

Besides the OTA update is going to rolled out for compatible devices. Google also has updated the Android N factory images to match the requirements of people who like install the new update in conventional manner. The new Android N version build number varies marginally subjected to the device that it’s intended for. As build number NPC56W is for Nexus 5X and 6P and NPC56X belongs to the Nexus 9, whereas NPC56R is for the Nexus Player.

The Over The Air update by itself requires around ~30MB download depending on device on which this update actually being installed. People  who are registered their devices in Android Beta Program or those who already have the last build of this image, can get this new OTA update.

As being initial update of preview version there is no big changes apart from some performance improvement. The small size of the firmware update also indicates that Google hasn’t provided some new features in this update of Android N Developer Preview.
