iOS 9.2 2nd Beta Released [What’s New]

Apple released the iOS 9.2 2nd beta update to all their registered developers. People who have installed the iOS 9.2 beta 1 can download and install this new beta update via Apple developer portal. Moreover under Apple developer program Apple also seed the OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 and tvOS 9.1 1st beta to registered developers.

iOS 9.2 comes with a number of bug fixes and some more enhancements associated with Safari View Controller. The 3rd party Action Extensions are supported now in Safari View Controller, which is actually a new window that pop-up when you tap on a hyper link in some apps. We also heard some news that iOS 9.2 provides support for Greek, Finnish and Polish to iOS Siri.

The iOS 9.2 beta 2 is carrying a build number 13C5060d and arrived just after one week of iOS 9.2 1st beta. The registered can download this new update now.

The iOS 9.2 beta 2 delivers some new features and improvements such as:.

  • New: Safari View Controller, the new Safari window that opens up when you click on a link in some apps, can now be dismissed using an edge swipe.
  • Bug Fix: iOS 9.2 beta 2 also fixes a bug which caused the stocks glance to go missing when you un-paired and re-paired your Apple Watch.
  • Bug fix: It also fixes syncing music issue with Apple Watch.
  • Bug fix: It also resolves an issue impacting audio quality when playing audio over USB with some car stereos.
  • Bug Fix: Videos with ‘folw’ track associations will no longer fail to play on 32-bit devices.
  • Note: Apple also notes that if users get a Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain error when they’re setting up iCloud keychain, then they should reboot the device to fix the issue.
People who already have the earlier version of iOS 9.2 beta 1 will get the new OTA update. To get this new update simply head over to Software Update Section of your device Settings app. If you are a registered developer then you can download the latest IPSW file from Apple Developer Center directly.
