Requirements To Root Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505)

  • You’ll need GT-I9505 Samsung Galaxy S4 with firmware XXUAMD2
  • Download Chainfire Auto-Root package
  • Download Odin3 Flash Utility
  • You have USB Drivers already configured for your Galaxy S4 device

Step By Step Guide To Root Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Using Chainfire Auto-Root

Step No 1: To start the rooting Samsung Galaxy S4, 1st you have to download root package and extract its all the contents on your PC or laptop.

Step No 2: Now after download root package, Download ODIN and run it.

Step No 3: Put your Samsung Galaxy S4 in Download mode.

How To Enable Download Mode (Instructions): To start your device in Download Mode, Disconnect your device from computer and turn it  off.  Now hold down the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons together. As soon as the phone boots, release the power button and follow any on-screen instructions.

Step No 4: Now connect the your device with computer, and when ODIN successfully detects the gadget then hit the ‘Start’ button to begin the flashing process.

Step No 5: After completing Step No 3, Under PDA, select the .tar.md5 file that you extracted from Chainfire Auto-Root package. Remeber that Re-Partition is unchecked, and do not touch any other settings. Now hit Start button to begin flashing the new PDA.

Step No 6: When the flash process is completed, then device will automatically restart with a red Android logo.

Step No 7: But if your device booted without the red Android logo, then manually restart into recovery to start the process, and you are done.
