Yesterday Apple unveiled the OS X El Capitan 5th beta for registered developers. Right now the OS X El Capitan 3rd public beta released by the Apple on account of public beta testing program. The OS X El Capitan public beta 3 download is available now for public.
This 3rd public beta is unveiled just after one week after 2nd public beta seeded. The beta updates under Apple Developer Program are only available for those who are registered developers, while the public betas are available to public for free.
To download the public beta you have to sign-up on Apple’s Beta Software Program portal. After signing-up you need to register your device and then install the beta configuration profiles, after that you will in position to download the public beta version.
Just like previous beta version this new public beta carries all those features available in latest developer beta 5. It is not clear yet but some people saying that Finder sidebar bug has been fixed.
The OS X El Capitan public beta supported machines:
- iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
- MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
- MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
- Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
- MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
- Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
- Xserve (Early 2009)
