iOS 10.1.X Jailbreak: People who have jailbroken their iOS 10.1.X devices by using Yalu jailbreak and still facing some issues such as Cydia crashing problem on device respring after tweak or app installation. For all those just read this post to learn how to install Cydia 1.1.28 beta on iOS 10.1.X jailbroken devices.
Saurik has already released Cydia version 1.1.28 third beta to tackle these issues. The most recent build actually fixes the 1st beta issue. Package descriptions written in non-English form would appear as ?’s, for that reason this beta fixes the problem to show non-English characters correctly.
Although we still not recommending the typical user to jailbreak their with Yalu, those who are confident to jailbreak may find this Cydia release improves their experience running the jailbreak slightly.
This beta, in fact, a better fix for iOS 10.1.X jailbreak issue but it also indicates that Saurik is working to fix all the known issues. Furthermore, Saurik stated sometimes that he is aware of all kind of new Cydia problems that people are facing and he will fix all these issues in the future release.
The new Cydia build is at Beta 3 at the time of writing, and is now 64-bit. This should go some way to solving the pair of issues mentioned above. It also bumps the version of APT (the package management tool which forms the backend of Cydia) to 1.14 from 0.7.25. Saurik has stated that whilst both of these changes may result in a slight performance decrease, the difference will probably be negligible, and the changes were necessary for improved compatibility with the iOS 10 jailbreak.
