How-To Share A Contact Group On iPhone, iPad

If you have tried out to send a contact group to someone from your own iPhone or iPad, then you’ve most likely observed that this is not so easy to do it. You need a 3rd party app when sharing a contact group all at once. But it is not impossible you can do it out of the box.

What is a contact group, it actually allow you to share contacts easily and freely. For instance, you may have a contact group for work and another contact group for family etc.

Why we need it, let say a new comer join your company and asks you to send the fellow employees contacts, then then it’ll be easier to send them an entire contact group that contains all of your colleagues contacts rather than it would be to send each contact one by one.

Similar cases can be deemed when:

  • A school friend asks you for other friends contact information
  • A family member asks you for other family contact information
  • And so on…
