Step 1. Go-to Settings app on iPhone 5s handset.
Step 2. Tap on General tab.
Step 3. Choose the “Passcode & Fingerprint” option.
Step 4. People who have not created their own locks-creen pass code should select the “Turn Passcode On” option and type in the password two times [you must type this the 2nd time when you’re requested to do so].

The Slide-to-unlock option will show up . There’s no need to slide unlock and enter any password. You simply can place your finger that is already registered as fingerprint on iPhone Home button and hang on till the iPhone detects it and unlocks by itself.
