At the moment, it works on Samsung Galaxy S3 [GT-i9300] only . To confirm to see that your own device is proper, go-to Settings -> About Device -> and check the Model Number.
Before get started
Before trying any step, make sure that you’ve all the drivers for your device installed on your own computer and the option “USB Debugging” must be enabled. If you have not do it, go-to the Settings -> Developer Options to enable this. If you do not having access to the Developer Options still, go-to Settings -> About Device and then click the “Build Number” a couple of times to enable it.
Obviously, to install any ROMs, your device must be rooted and need the recovery software to be installed already (for instance TWRP or ClockworkMod).
Android 4.4.2 On Galaxy S3 [How To Install]
- Connect the Galaxy S3 with computer and then copy both the zip files (AOSP NeatROM and Gapps) from your PC to device
- Turn- off your device
- Enter in Recovery mode by pressing “Volume Up + Home + On / Off” buttons. In this particular mode you may get around using volume buttons and select with power button
- Select the “install zip from sdcard” and then “choose zip from sdcard”. Pick the ROM file
- Once completed, repeat the same procedure by picking the file with Gapps
- Restart your Galaxy S3 by “reboot system now”.
