Yesterday a new jailbreak tweak named NativeQR hit Cydia. Using this cool tweak you can read QR codes through stock camera application on your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. As you know that such feature is not built into the iOS pretty much, means that this tech will not be available to you. However, this new jailbreak tweak is making an attempt to change that by integrating the capability to scan the QR Codes straight from the stock Camera app. NativeQR, not simply allow you to scan the QR codes, but it will also enables you to share your contacts using the QR codes.
After installing the tweak , you will discover its on/off toggle in the Camera app options pane that is you will just have to launch the Camera app, then tap on the options button & you will see there a new QR code toggle. Once you enable the tweak, now using it is so simple as keeping a viewfinder above a QR code. The NativeQR only takes a second to recognize a code, and it then replies you with a dialogue which enables you to copy the link of the website related to the code, or you can open your browser to directly go to that site.
Another cool feature of the tweak is that it allows you to add functionality to the “Contacts app”, that is now you can share a friends phone number by just making a unique QR code on the spot, which implies you can now say goodbye to actuating telling your friend or some body else your phone number or risking typing the phone number wrong.
