  • Open the Settings app (on your iPhone/iPad)
  • Tap on iCloud
  • Scroll down and tap on Keychain
  • Turn the “iCloud Keychain” switch ON
  • You have two options: Approve from other device / Use iCloud Security Code
  • If you select “Approve from other device”, you will be asked to choose one of the other iCloud-connected devices. Then, use that (selected) device to enter the password for your iCloud account. This will switch ON iCloud Keychain on your first device.
  • If you select “Use iCloud Security Code” – which is a simpler, easier option – you will be prompted to create a new iCloud Security Code. (4-digit PIN that is different from your passcode)
