If you have been using WhatsApp on your iPhone, you will know how simple it is to deliver messages/pics to other individuals using WhatsApp but iPod Touch and the iPad is left behind as they can not use WhatsApp, until now. A few weeks ago we revealed a how to guide on getting WhatsApp for iPad using an app known as WhatsPad. Now you can use the same WhatsPad to get WhatsApp for the iPod Touch devices. So download and know that how to install WhatsApp for iPod Touch using WhatsPad.
Before we show you how to download and install WhatsApp for the iPod touch you need to have a jailbroken iPod touch.
Download WhatsApp for iPod touch Using WhatsPad
STEP 1: Download WhatsApp for iPhone via iTunes
STEP 2: Download iPhone Configuration Utility and run it.
STEP 3: When you run it you will see Applications in the left menu, Click on it.
STEP 4: Click on the add button at the top left of the window.
STEP 5: Choose your downloaded WhatsApp file. It is located in the normal iTunes data folder under iTunes MediaMobile Applications.
STEP 6: Now click on install and WhatsApp will appear on your iPod touch.
STEP 7: Now head over to Cydia and download WhatsPad which can be located in the BigBoss repo
To activate WhatsApp, enter your phone no of the sim card which you will use to receive SMS (i.e. in an old phone handset). The SMS will contain your activation code which will be required for further activation.
Its done! Now you can use WhatsApp on your iPod Touch and enjoy talking with your friends and family.
